Comments : This is everything a CS should be. Peaceful, tranquil with views over the local countryside. The pitches are large grass with electric hook up. The facilities are clean and tidy and a decent shower too! There are plenty of good walks to be had and there are pubs close at hand. Sue is a superb host and always greets with a smile and a wave. As Arnie says 'I'll be back...'

Comments : Meticulously clean facilities (toilet and separate shower) and well ordered recycling and waste points. Generous pitches with beautiful views over a wooded valley. Good access to Cirencester and the Roman villa at Chedworth (NT). Trust the handbook's directions to the letter and you won't go wrong. We will be returning to this wonderful CS.

Comments : We couldn't fault this site - the owners were very welcoming and helpful, the facilties, although basic, are spotlessly clean and well-maintained and the views from the peaceful site are gorgeous. Great sunsets and we enjoyed hearing the owl at night. Lovely walks in the area and great pubs within a short drive.

Comments : On arriving we had the best welcome i have ever had from a site, and the information about local pubs, walks, places to go were freely given by Sue. Both Sue and Mike were superb hosts, nothing seemed to be any trouble. We had some blocks in their freeze and tried a couple of times to pick them up, but no-one was about. Then it started raining so we thought we would leave them till the following morning. Mike came over to our tent after the rain, and brought the blocks over to us. A fine gesture which was appreciated. The site facilities look a bit ropey on the outside, but inside they were 5 star. Plenty of hot water, loo roll and always spotless. Open the flap on the tent in the morning and the views are breathtaking. Being on top of a hill it did get a bit windy at times, but no-one can control the weather. A superb site, and i have already recommended it to some friends. I will be defiantly be staying here again next time i came back to this area.

Comments : Mike & Sue are very welcoming hosts in this new site on the Miserden Estate. The site is tucked away in a very rural setting with no passing traffic. Mike has now converted the old horse shelter into an immaculate loo and shower - very homely and lots of hot water with good water pressure. There are recycling and washing up facilities (cold water only) and great walks direct from the site, so very dog friendly. The steep valley walk down to the River Frome is through an amazing wood with old quarry and deep sided forest walks. There are beautiful sunsets, and great starry skies as so little light pollution. We visited in August and returned in September - we enjoyed our visit so much. The Crown at nearby Frampton Mansell serves great food and we can also highly recommend William's Oyster Bar at Nailsworth, and a trip to Minchinhampton Common.

Comments : We found this to be the perfect site with large spacious flat pitches looking out towards a beautiful view of peaceful English countryside. Birds singing in the trees, and owls hooting at night. Walks can be taken in the nearby woods where deer may be seen. The basic site facilities are clean and functional. We found the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Bullingham to be most welcoming and helpful, (free range eggs for sale). Misarden Park Gardens and many pretty villages to visit within easy drive. We enjoyed a day in the beautiful town of Cirencester. We now cannot wait for our next stay very shortly.
